Freedom Thinkers Education Mission Statement

Freedom Thinkers Education staff and students will respect all people. We strive to educate children to be responsible, respectful citizens through personalized and project-based learning. Our school values and fosters quality instruction and excellence, effective communication skills, and a strong sense of social responsibility. We strive to develop proficiencies in personal achievement, compassion, curiosity, problem solving, creativity, and critical thinking. We believe that children learn best by “doing” and that all children can, and will learn. We also believe that children should be taught "how to think" rather than "what to think" to successfully adapt to an ever-changing society.

  • The freedom to choose our own projects and learn “how to think” rather than "what to think"

  • Project-based, hands-on learning

  • The support of our parents and community

  • The sharing of information and learning from each other

  • A passion for learning

  • A strong work ethic

  • Critical thinking

  • Problem solving

  • Self-directed learning

  • Self evaluation and critiquing skills

  • Persistence
  • Multi-age learning
