Upcoming Drama Performances : Three more shows in 2023!

KRAZY KAMP

Our next school drama production of the year, Krazy Kamp, is gearing up to be ready to go. The students are very excited to show you their show about a pair of wacky summer camps, disgruntled investors, mistaken identities, gangsters, and a loose buffalo. Dates are as follows:

Monday, May 29th

Tuesday, May 30th

Thursday, June 1st

The show will start at 7:00 pm, and include a dessert theatre during intermission.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

Alumni Performances

We're doing something new and exciting this year! We pitched the idea of running a production for our alumni students... We were so excited that 22 students have come back to do another show with us here at Freedom Thinkers. Due to the large amount of interest, we've ended up running two alumni shows this year. The two family-friendly comedy shows will be:

- Males Order Brides: in which a lawyer and an actress attempt to perform an elaborate life insurance scam involving many fictional blushing brides. As expected, things go horribly wrong.

- Murder by Indecision: in which a confused murder mystery playwright is unaware that her characters have become sentient, and they are rather unhappy with her recent story choices she's made for them. How many murder weapons are considered excessive for a single murder?

Irish Dance Accomplishments

Congratulations to Paisley, Reese, and Naia for qualifying and participating at the World Championship for Irish Dance (formally called 'Oireachtas Rince Na Cruinne') this year!

Paisley placed 76th in the world at the competition!

Naia is an alumni student of Freedom Thinkers, who placed 47th at World's, and is currently the Western Canadian Champion for her age group!

Reese earned a World Metal, placing 16 overall in the world!!

Congratulations girls, we're so proud of your achievements and dedication! Your hard work has definitely paid off!
